Due to certain freight carriers specifications, some items are subject to an additional oversize/non-box charge in addition to our normal handling charges.
All items shipped via truck freight will be invoiced an additional cost, based upon your zip code (determined during the checkout process). This price includes to-your-door-delivery to your chosen destination.Our normal handling charges apply to these items, as well. Crate motors & short blocks delivered to residential addresses may incur additional charges for equipment to unload.
Our standard shipping option is FedEx. You must provide a physical delivery address to avoid delaying shipment.

All packages destined for APO/FPO addresses will ship via USPS, regardless of weight. APO/FPO orders can take up to 2 months to be delivered. Please contact us if your order takes longer than that to arrive.
Guaranteed 2 Day Orders will be shipped via 2nd Day Air OR Ground, depending on your location. Delivery is guaranteed within 2 business days after the ship date. (Saturdays and Sundays are not counted as business/working days) Shipping method is not guaranteed. ***Time definite shipments (2 Day and 1 Day) that do not arrive by the end of the day on the scheduled delivery date (due to carrier delays) may have a refund issued to reflect the service that was received. Refunds cannot be issued due to delays from unavailability of the recipient, acts of God, acts of public authority, riots, strikes, labor disputes, civil commotions, disruptions in air or ground transportation networks due to weather phenomena or natural disasters, or in the event that an ordered product is out of stock or has limited availability.

Your packages may be subject to the customs fees and import duties (GST, brokerage, taxes and associated fees) of the country to which you have your order shipped. These charges are always the recipient's responsibility.
You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from Livernois Motorsports & Engineering, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
We try our best to prevent damage to all packages during transit by packing each order carefully. From time to time, though, damage will occur despite our precautions.
Inspect your shipment upon arrival. Report any damage or shipping related breakage immediately to the carrier.
Please hold on to the original packaging and packing material because the carrier, in most cases, will need to inspect the items. A shipping company representative will contact you to set up a convenient time to inspect and pick up the package for return.
If you have not received your order even after the tracking shows it was delivered, contact us immediately to start a tracer.
Packages will be returned to us by the carrier if they cannot be delivered due to incomplete or incorrect addresses, are not picked up from the shipping facility, or if the recipient refuses delivery. All packages returned to us for the above reasons can take up to 3 weeks to be processed. We may charge you a 10% restocking fee at our discretion.

Receiving Your Shipment:Please be aware that it is the duty of the customer/consignee to accept delivery of freight goods consigned to them.The consignee must be present to receive the shipment at the time of delivery.
Inspecting Your Shipment: It is the consignee’s responsibility to inspect their shipment for damages before the freight driver leaves the delivery location. If the packaging shows any indication of damage, open it immediately to check the contents, and ask the driver to inspect the contents with you. If your shipment has been damaged, you (or the freight driver) must write a precise description of the damage on both your copy and the freight company's copy of the delivery receipt. Please call us so that we may start a damage claim with the freight company.Failure to inspect for damages at the time of delivery could result in any damage claim made thereafter being voided by the freight company.
For Concealed Loss or Damage: As soon as possible after delivery, unpack and inspect your shipment. Should you discover a concealed loss or damage, contact us immediately to start a claim with the freight company. Make every attempt to leave the containers and packing materials as they were when you first discovered the loss or damage.Please note that any damage claim made after delivery has been completed could result in the claim being voided by the freight company.
Note:The consignee is not justified in refusing a damaged shipment unless the damage has made the goods totally worthless. In cases of partial damage or loss, the customer should accept the entire shipment and determine whether it can be repaired or retained with an allowance. The customer is responsible for any holding or shipping charges on a refused shipment that the freight company deems repairable.
The consignee must be present to recieve the shipment at the time of delivery.Failure of the consignee to do so may result in a delayed delivery and possible holding of the goods by the freight company. If the freight company is unable to make delivery, storage charges for each day held will accrue. If held, these charges are the responsibility of the customer. In the event that neither the freight company nor Livernois Motorsports & Engineering are able to contact the customer to schedule a delivery, the goods will be returned to Livernois Motorsports & Engineering and the original and return shipping cost as well as any storage fees will be charged to the customer. A restock fee may be charged at Livernois Motorsports & Engineering's discretion to cover any additional costs such as replacement packaging.
Please note that freight items are not returnable once shipped unless as a last resort if a shipment is in danger of becoming abandoned. In the case of a Refused Freight Shipment without damage, the customer will be responsible for the original shipping, shipping of the freight item back to us, and any storage fees if applicable. In addition, the customer may be charged a restocking fee at Livernois Motorsports & Engineering discretion based off of the individual situation and condition of the returning product and packaging. Replacement packaging needs to be special ordered so any replacement packaging for refused shipments must be covered by the customer.
Any additional fees charged by the freight company for additional services either incurred through delivery issues or as requested by the consignee (other than normal shipping costs) are the responsibility of the customer. These include, but may not be limited to: Residential Delivery, Inside Delivery or Pickup, Limited Access Delivery or Pickup (including Churches, Schools, Construction Sites and Military Bases), Lift-Gate Service, Storage Fees, Corrected Bill of Lading.
A 100% non-refundable deposit is required on all special order parts. All special orders must be paid in full prior to ordering, no exceptions.
Any and all deposits will be forfeited, if the item is not picked up within 30 days.
Any warranty is limited to that which is supplied by the manufacturer. Livernois Motorsports & Engineering does not warranty any of the items that it sells. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to make sure that all parts purchased are correct before installation. Race components are sold with no warranty expressed or implied. Not all components are legal for use on highway vehicles. All Manufacturers warranties will apply if applicable. Most aftermarket manufactures do not carry a warranty on race oriented items. Items that carry no manufacturer’s warranty are sold as-is. Used items still under manufacturer’s warranty may have to be inspected by a factory representative before a refund or exchange can be authorized.
Many parts we sell are not legal for use on emission controlled vehicles and do not carry a CARB exemption number. They are intended for off-road or racing use only. A civil penalty of $2500.00 can be imposed on the owner of a vehicle for each violation of the Clean Air Act. The only information to use to determine a product's status is written statements by the manufacturer of the products.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to know which products are not legal for use on emission-controlled vehicles and realize that a civil penalty can be imposed on the installer for each violation of the clean air act. Any questions please contact the manufacturer of the product.
