Camshaft profiles are built around the data obtained through Livernois Motorsports engine development programs and their special application requirements.  By utilizing this data, along with our extensive racing background, we are able to design camshaft profiles that make more power, have better driveability, and produce a better overall engine combination then any other manufacturer. 

Every Livernois Motorsports engine component is engineered and assembled to work seamlessly as a package solution. All Livernois piston, rod, crankshaft, bearing, and fastener choices are designed to provide exceptional durability and unmatched precision. Livernois produces meticulously crafted, precision engines with custom-designed components built from decades of racing and engineering knowledge.

Livernois Motorsports cylinder heads are built with the automotive enthusiast in mind. Each has the performance, reliability, and power to back it up. All Livernois cylinder heads are designed, engineered, and manufactured in-house at our facility in Dearborn Heights, MI.

They are designed around our custom engineered CNC porting program. Each and every cylinder head is tested for maximum airflow and efficiency by our highly trained cylinder head technicians. From there they head for further testing on the dyno to verify CFM and airflow numbers and efficiency.

Finished cylinder heads are sent to the CNC department where the heads will be CNC ported and verified. Our development process is what ensures a very high-end product that offers better performance across the spectrum. The combination of increased airflow, Livernois proprietary components, and hardware they are able to achieve the maximum performance that enthusiasts crave.

Livernois Motorsports Stage 1 L92 camshaft was designed with drivability in mind and is recommended for very mild street vehicles. It produces good power while still maintaining a smooth idle and excellent, factory like drivability.

Livernois Motorsports Stage 2R MAX L92 camshaft was designed for someone who puts the focus on power rather than drivability. Recommended for track/street vehicles, it produces excellent power. It has a very aggressive, rough idle and ok drivability. Suggested for six-speed manual transmission equipped vehicles or automatic transmission with an aftermarket torque converter.
