Our T510 Package moves beyond the limitation of the factory turbos on your Ford Explorer Sport. By replacing the stock turbos, with modified, larger units we are able to make far more boost, and power more efficiently than before. Building upon our T460 Package, we add 2 critical, yet power adding items. As mentioned above, we include upgraded turbos, but we also include our Firestorm Upgraded High Pressure Fuel Pump to ensure the fuel system can keep up with the demand of the newly found power. The T510 Package ads up to 120hp and 120 of torque and has allowed customers to see 12-Second time slips from their Explorer Sport.

The Windstorm Cold Air Intake for the 2013-2015 Explorer Sport features a larger than stock roto-molded intake tube that dramatically increases flow capability over the factory intake system. This design allows for full utilization of the massive 1700-cfm air filter which supplies plenty of clean, cool air to the engine while maintaining excellent filtration. These intake systems also feature our new large, one-piece, rotational-molded air box. These new one-piece air boxes house an exclusive Synthaflow technology air filter which, when combined with the CAD-designed intake tube, provides improved horsepower, torque, and MPG This increase in airflow is the perfect add on for a stock vehicle, and allows for the best performance possible when coupled with our MyCalibrator tuner as well.

Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensors, have two specific responsibilities in the engine management system: measuring barometric pressure at key on, and to report engine load to the powertrain control module. The powertrain control module uses the information for proper air/fuel mixture control under performance driving conditions. For example, a 3 BAR sensor will handle a forced induction up to 29.0+ psi of boost. We use this measuring and reporting to build more powerful and more stable tunes.
Clients wanting higher boost levels in the EcoBoost platform should consider this, as the factory sensor cannot read anything above 14.5 psi. And some boost spikes can cause the sensor to rise above that.

-ATP Upgraded Turbos
The factory turbos outfitted to the transverse 3.5L EcoBoost engines are quite capable pieces, but once you add on our tuning, and some upgraded items like found in our various upgrade offerings, you quickly reach their limit for power. Thats where the ATP upgraded units come into play. By starting with the OEM design and housings, they upgrade the internals to larger, high flow units to allow for more boost, with less restriction, back pressure, and heat climb. These are the same turbos use on all of our world record setting Taurus SHO's, and have been able to produce over 600WHP!
The fuel system in the EcoBoost family of engines has always been an area that could use improvement. While our tuning takes into careful consideration the limitations of the fuel pumps, it is very possible to exceed the limit of these components with only a tune. We've spent years working for a proper solution, rather than relying only on supplemental aids like methanol injection, or auxiliary injectors, nor workarounds like pulling power out of the tune to ensure proper fueling. Now, those worries and issues are things of the past. Our Firestorm Upgraded fuel pump flows more than 40% more fuel than the OEM pump, all while being able to maintain and run higher pressures than stock. This equals proper fuel delivery under a much wider array of situations than ever were possible before.
