This week we had several G8's in the shop for work.

The Stryker Blue car is from Maryland and is getting our Stage 1 L92 Camshaft, CNC Valve Job, Valve Spring Package, DOD Delete Package, Kooks Longtube Headers and X-Pipe w/ Cats, Rotofab Cold Air Intake System, Precision Industries Vigilante 3200 Converter, and Dyno Tune.

The Ignition Orange car is from Florida and is getting our Stage 1 L92 Camshaft, CNC Valve Job, Valve Spring Package, DOD Delete Package, Kooks Shorty Headers, Magnaflow X-Pipe w/ Cats, Rotofab Cold Air Intake System, and Dyno Tune.

The Panther Black Metallic car is from New York and is getting our Magnacharger MP1900 Supercharger Package, Rotofab Cold Air Intake System, and Dyno Tune.

The Liquid Red car is getting our Stage 1 L92 Camshaft, CNC Valve Job, Valve Spring Package, DOD Delete Package, Ported Intake Manifold and Throttle Body, Kooks Longtube Headers and X-Pipe w/ Cats, Rotofab Cold Air Intake System, UD Pulley, and Dyno Tune.

Ronaele Mustang and Livernois Motorsports shared a booth showcasing two Ronaele Mustangs along with Ford performance products manufactured by Livernois Motorsports in the manufacturers midway....

For people who see cars merely as transportation and not as turbo-charged pieces of art, you might not understand Autorama. It's not just another car show. It's the ultimate hot rod exhibit -- the cream of the customizers. It is absolutely fabulous.

Saturday September 10, 2005, the city of Maumee, Ohio held their annual City Limits Cruise and Car Show, Antique & Collectible Fair, Summer in the City Concert, and Hurricane Relief Drive. Livernois Motorsports was proud to be a part of this event in attendance with our Portable Chassis Dyno.

CAMARO SUPERFEST 2005 was once again held at Washtenaw Community College in eastern Ann Arbor. The ìlargest all Camaro eventî was hoping to break the 500 Camaro mark this year! Theyíve had participants from over 21 states the last several years and were hoping for more this year. FME held their 10th Annual "FME Motorsports Open House" at Ford World Headquarters on Thursday, April 21, 2005. The purpose of this event was to get more community members exposed to the fun, family appreciation of all venues of Motorsports. There were opportunities to meet club members, other Motorsports clubs Representatives, and Governing Body Representatives from SE Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. There was also an eclectic display of cars from all decades/venues.

The greatest Autorama show ever? This claim is heard just about every year when this premier hot rod and custom car show sets up at Cobo Center. But this year, that might be an accurate statement. The exhibits were outstanding, from paint finishes to exotic metal shaping.

I think it's safe to say the inclimate weather had an effect on the turnout for this event, however, here are some of the cars that were here to make runs on the Dyno-Jet.

After four days of on and off rain showers racers were finally able to complete the 3rd Annual Nitto Tire World Finals at Memphis Motorsports Park. An event which should have been completed on a Sunday, stretched until early afternoon Tuesday, as racers who remained in Memphis had to sit through two grueling days waiting for a chance to even get their cars out of the trailers to compete in the final event of the PRO Edelbrock Drag Racing Series....

Dubbed the "M Event" by many who attend, the Michigan GM Event is a favorite for General Motors vehicles owners from not only Michigan, but from all over the country. There was an average of 125-150+ GM cars in attendance and this number is getting larger each year. Some consider the event that "last blast" of the season because many put their cars away for the harsh Michigan winter after this event.

Dan Millen helped his championship hopes out considerably after winning his third consecutive race at Maple Grove. Millen, qualified second behind Jason Enos didnít have an opponent to race in the first two rounds, but did in the third round as he raced Alan Dudley who is Millenís closest rival for this yearís title....

The Woodward Dream Cruise is a mid-summer classic that celebrates the cars, music, and memories of cruisin' in the fifties and sixties in the place that put America on wheels. The world's largest one-day celebration of the car culture attracts over 1.5 million visitors; 30,000 muscle cars, street rods, custom, collector and special interest vehicles...

Dan Millen notched yet another win in Nitto Tire Super Street. Millen led the five-car field with a blistering 7.41/187 mph lap. Millen went on to defeat Tim Dooley in the final.

In round one, Brian Carpenterís 7.630/188.99 reset the former class speed record, but the run was quickly over shadowed by second qualifier Dan Millen, whose own turbo Ford unleashed a 7.534/187.51, the ET of which was backed-up by his 7.606/186.01 qualifying effort.

Roxanne ran Tweety in EFI-D Class (10.50 index) at the NSCA/Corteco Motor City Nationals held at Milan Dragway June 12-13, 2004. She was #2 qualifier running a 10.55 and ended up going four rounds and winning her second race in a row running a 10.59 on her 10.50 index.

Roxanne and Barry Shepard traveled to Maplegrove Raceway in Reading, PA for the 20th Annual Ford Motorsports Nationals. After a beautiful day on Friday, Saturday was rained out and on Sunday, after 2 rounds of qualifying, Roxanne was in the number one position, qualified with a 10.43.

Livernois Motorsports has developed and markets a complete line of our own engines, for a wide variety of applications ranging from high-performance crate engines, Factory Stock, Street Outlaw, Pro-Stock, Circle Track and Marine.

Livernois Motorsports hosted day 1 of the V6 Ford Challenge May 29, 2004. We had the facility open for tours as well as dyno tuning and testing and a car show displaying the hottest V6 Fords from the US and Canada.

Leading the field with a 7.59/185, Millen ran no slower than 7.73 during eliminations, (including back-to-back 7.65s), on his way to stopping Leo Barnabyís respected 632-cubic inch í90 Camaro in the final round. Millenís closest battle came in the semi-finals, when he drove around an Alan Dudley holeshot to beat the fellow Mustang campaigner by eighth thousandths of a second!

Dan Millen was #2 qualifier in the Vortech Pro Street Outlaw Class at the World Ford Challenge 7 event running 7.48. Dan advanced over Greathouse, survived the first round over Haveman, and made his way through the rounds winning against #3 qualifier Jimmy Blair in the final round to become the first Outlaw Racer to win this event twice!
