History

Livernois first opened its doors as an engineering company in 1949. Livernois Engineering was the first company to produce an aluminum radiator for automotive use and also produced the tooling and machines to produce them. The company was located on Livernois Avenue in Detroit, MI… hence the name.

As years passed, several other companies were incorporated to address emerging service requirements from a number of Detroit’s auto manufacturers and enthusiasts.

These companies included Livernois Vehicle Development and Livernois Motorsports.

Developed to address the high-end demands of automotive enthusiasts, Livernois Motorsports opened its doors in 1999. We are constantly developing and testing new products and adding new product lines from hundreds of vendors to provide our customers with the latest, cutting edge products available for their vehicles.

In addition to retail customers and other shops all over the world, Livernois Motorsports is a supplier to GM, Ford, and Chrysler through the OEM level and the performance parts business.
