Sales and Marketing Position at Livernois Motorsports & Engineering, LLC

Livernois Motorsports and Engineering, LLC is currently looking to hire a very enthusiastic employee who has a passion and love for the motorsports industry.

Requirements

• Common knowledge of “NEW” late model Ford, GM, and Chrysler products, our specialty, is a MUST. 
• Be able to recommend our products and services to the customers in a professional manner
• Understanding of our product offerings, and be able to up-sell customers with add-on sales
• Answer customer phone calls in a polite and professional manner
• Answer external and internal customer emails
• Deal with walk-in customers at a moment's notice
• Be a pro-active seller, find new customers and opportunities
• Capable of managing our website, message boards, Facebook, YouTube, eBay accounts
• Update Website, Facebook and YouTube account daily
• Willing to travel to visit customers (In state & out of state), if required
• Capable of working 8-10 hours/day (M-F) and Saturdays 9-1
• Weekends when required (Trade Shows, Special Events, Race Track, etc.)
• Quick leaner, ability to think on their feet and make decisions, work within the team and by yourself

Sales Associate Position at Livernois Motorsports & Engineering, LLC

This candidate must be professional and courteous when handling customer calls and provide prompt, efficient service to all customer inquiries while aiding them in purchasing the proper parts for their vehicle.
 

Requirements

We are looking for a Very Enthusiastic individual who wants to make a difference at Livernois Motorsports and Engineering and is passionate about building high performance engines. This individual must take pride in the work that he/she produces. Understands that there are multiple customers within an organization and that all customers are treated with respect, and understand that without the customer we don’t have a job. You must be able to work well with others and deal with unique personalities that exist in our industry. We want an individual who brings something to the table, we are NOT looking for an 8-4:30 employee. We want an individual who wants to make a difference everyday that he/she is at work. Overtime can happen on daily or weekend basis. You must also be able to work with OEM engineers on testing and development work.

Lean manufacturing practices are a plus as we are striving to become a lean manufacturing company. Each and every job has a budgeted time allotted, you must be able to meet or beat this budget every time. • Engine R & R, install heads, aftermarket camshafts, lifters, pushrods, etc.
• Familiarity with centrifugal and roots/twin screw superchargers
• Understanding and experience with upgrading suspension components
• Installation of all major brands of headers and exhaust systems
• Experience with upgrading fuel systems, and installing methanol injection systems
• Wiring experience, familiarity with aftermarket gauges, aftermarket engine management wiring
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Operate Welder Tig/Mig          
• ASE and State of Michigan Mechanics certification

CNC Operator /Assistant/Trainee Position at Livernois Motorsports & Engineering, LLC

This individual will be working with the engine build, cylinder head, and CNC machining center departments. You will be taught the necessary skills in order to be successful in performing your daily tasks.

Any experience with running a CNC machine and/or setting them up is a plus.

Requirements

• Experience with engine machining equipment & CNC machines 
• Experience with GM LS, Ford Modular and Mopar Hemi engine families
• Experience with precision instruments (micrometers, gauges, etc.) to take readings accurate to .0001
• Computer experience- Basic- Create and edit documents
• Familiar with Engine Machine equipment
• No programming experience required
• Assist engine build department in machining, building and prepping of engines
• Assist cylinder head department in machining, building and prepping of cylinder heads
• Assist CNC machining department with set-up and teardown, running of parts
  
• Must be able to take direction from co-worker and/or supervisor
